Radio Udaan and Purple Clinic Launch ‘Purple Care Helpline’ for Persons with Disabilities

It is a significant step towards inclusive healthcare, Radio Udaan, in collaboration with Purple Clinic, has launched the Purple Care Helpline which is a free weekly health advisory service dedicated to Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan). The initiative aims to make quality medical guidance accessible from the comfort of home. Every Sunday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Divyangjan and their families can connect directly with a qualified doctor to discuss health concerns at no cost. The helpline will be led by Dr. Rohit Kalra , Ayurvedic Medical Officer at Civil Hospital, Pathankot, who is associated with the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK). His expertise will help in providing reliable medical advice and guidance to callers. This initiative aligns with the vision of ensuring accessible healthcare for all, particularly for individuals who face mobility challenges or limited access to medical facilities. By offering free consultations over the phone, the Purple Care Helpline seeks to bridge healthcare gaps and promote timely medical support. The helpline can be reached at +91 83606 16311 every Sunday between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Radio Udaan and Purple Clinic have urged the public to save the helpline number and share it widely so that no person with a disability has to face health concerns alone. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to inclusion, dignity, and accessible healthcare for every individual.
