Radio Udaan uses the power of audio drama and storytelling to raise awareness about social issues and the lived experiences of persons with disabilities. Through thought-provoking plays, the initiative addresses disability rights, inclusive education, employment, accessibility, relationships, and social equality, encouraging audiences to question stereotypes and build a more inclusive society.

Ek Nayi Musibat
A powerful and entertaining play performed during the Radio Udaan Convention in 2016. The play explores the matrimonial perspectives and challenges faced by visually impaired people, bringing out social attitudes through witty dialogues, humour, and thought-provoking situations. The play was directed by Danish Mahajan and performed by Danish, Jyoti, Sangeeta, Naresh, and Gitesh and Radio udaan team.Prepared through internet/Skype collaboration, the performance entertained the audience while encouraging viewers to think differently about marriage, disability, and social inclusion.
Imtehan Har Mod Par
This audio play, Imtehaan Har Mod Pe (Exams at Every Turn), presented by Radio Udaan, is a powerful narrative exploring the social challenges, discrimination, and prejudices faced by people with disabilities in India. Through the story of the protagonists, Dhairya (who is visually impaired) and Pragati (who is non-disabled), the play delves into themes of societal hypocrisy, the lack of empathy, and the struggle for equality.
Ek Paigam Desh Ke Naam
A patriotic audio play presented on the occasion of India’s 69th Independence Day. It encourages national pride, civic responsibility, and reflection on the role of citizens in building the country. This is a Play completely directed, edited and performed by the persons with visual challenges to pay tribute to SP Shaeed Baljeet Singh, a martyr of Dinanagar Terror attack.
Jazba
Jazba is a play based on employment related issues faced by persons with disability. This is a live performance by team radioudaan on its forth national convention organised in Panchkula Haryana on 28th jan. 2018.
Ek Naya Savera
Focuses on the importance of education and access to learning opportunities for children. It promotes education as a foundation for empowerment, equality, and a better future.
Sangharsh
Draws attention to concerns regarding health insurance for persons with disabilities and the appointment of the Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities. It underscores the importance of institutional accountability and safeguarding disability rights.
Ehsaas
A Radio Udaan awareness production presented during the organisation’s anniversary celebrations. Through dramatic expression, it seeks to engage listeners and encourage empathy and social awareness.
Karvat
Through powerful storytelling and impactful performances, the play explores issues such as accessibility barriers, biases in recruitment, workplace inclusion, and the determination of persons with visual impairment to prove their abilities.
Intezar
A dramatic production presented at the Radio Udaan Convention 2025 and directed by Danish Mahajan. It brings storytelling to the stage to engage audiences with a socially relevant human experience.
Umeed
Addresses sexual harassment faced by women with disabilities in rural areas, highlighting their vulnerability and barriers to protection. It calls for greater awareness, safety, dignity, and accountability.
Ankhen
A Radio Udaan play presented at the organisation’s 2018–19 convention. It uses dramatic storytelling to engage audiences with a social message and encourage reflection.
