My experience with Radio Udaan

I am Dr.Rajeshwari. I came in contact with Team Radio Udaan in 2022 when I was doing my Ph.D. I was in deep distress because of the problems I was encountering in my academics. I pursued my education after a gap of twenty three years and after I lost my sight completely in 2010. Therefore, although I persisted in trying for academic jobs, the efforts were futile. It was at this juncture that I came in close contact with all the members of Radio Udaan, who were ever encouraging and positive for everyone's bright future. My journey with Radio Udaan began by offering a voluntary service for their radio app, which consisted of working for The Book World, translating English novels into Hindi for the ardent listeners of Radio Udaan. My experience there was very pleasurable and gave me the required moral encouragement which carried me forward amidst the challenges of life. By the grace of god and blessings of all those in Radio Udaan, I got an academic position even before I could complete one year of my voluntary service for Radio Udaan. I shall treasure this experience throughout my life and hope to offer my services in many more ways.
