Matrimony for Disabled – Milap

Finding a compatible and best  life partner can be challenging for many persons with disabilities, due to social barriers and limited inclusive matrimonial platforms. To address this need and providing an effective solution, Radio Udaan launched Matrimony for Disabled, an initiative dedicated to creating meaningful connections and promoting inclusive relationships. This step has now evolved under the name Milap, that continue its mission of bringing together individuals seeking companionship, marriage, and lifelong partnerships in a safe, respectful, and accessible environment.

Milap has successfully organized five matrimonial meets which  includes events in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Punjab, along with two online editions that enabled participation from across the country. These gatherings have provided a unique platform for persons with disabilities and their families to interact, build trust, and explore compatible matches.

One of the initiative’s most significant achievements has been facilitating more than 22 successful marriages, which positively impacts  the lives of numerous individuals and families. These success stories reflect Milap’s commitment to fostering inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunities in every aspect of life, including marriage and family.

As the initiative continues to grow, Milap remains dedicated to expanding its reach, connecting more individuals across India, and creating an inclusive community where meaningful relationships can flourish.

Achievements
