Radio Udaan, in collaboration with Mission Accessibility and Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, proudly presents a special series celebrating 10 Years of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016. Over the past decade, the RPWD Act has changed the conversation around disability rights in India by strengthening legal protections, promoting accessibility, and encouraging equal opportunities across education, employment, healthcare, and public life. While significant milestones have been achieved, the journey turns toward a truly inclusive society continues. Our special series, "10 Years of RPWD", brings together 10 eminent voices for 10 insightful conversations exploring: The impact of the RPWD Act over the last decade. Progress made in accessibility and inclusion. Challenges that still need urgent attention. The future of disability rights in India.
